What is Spintax?

Spintax (Spinning Syntax) is a text formatting technique that allows you to create multiple variations of a message. The system randomly selects one option from each set of alternatives, making each message unique.

Benefits:

Avoid spam detection by sending unique messages
Improve engagement with varied content
Make messages feel more personal and natural
Reduce message flagging by WhatsApp

Spintax Syntax

Format:

Use curly braces { } with options separated by pipes |

Example 1: Simple Greeting

How to Use Spintax in GHL

Navigate to the conversation where you want to send a message

Write Your Message with Spintax

In the message field, type your message using Spintax syntax

Send the Message

Click send - our system automatically processes the Spintax and sends a unique variation

Best Practices

Keep it natural: Make sure all variations sound conversational and natural
Test first: Send test messages to yourself to verify all variations make sense
Don't overdo it: Use 2-4 variations per spintax block for best results
Combine with personalization: Use GHL custom fields along with Spintax for maximum effect
Works with media: You can use Spintax in captions for images, videos, and documents

Important Note

Spintax processing happens on our server when the message is sent via the GHL webhook. Make sure your webhook is properly configured in GHL for this feature to work.
